My Approach

I work collaboratively with clients, creating a supportive alliance to help you explore and make sense of whatever is happening in your life. My style of therapy is mostly gentle and reflective but can delve deeper with more challenge and probing while remaining sensitive to the situation. Working at your pace to help you respond to lives stressors in a more positive and less impactful way and support you to achieve your goals..

My approach to counselling is based on the belief that everyone has the capacity to find resolution and healing through self-exploration. I provide a safe and non-judgemental space for clients to explore their inner worlds and better understand their emotions, thoughts and behaviours. I utilise a variety of techniques including Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness-based interventions. I also draw on my own life experience to help clients gain insight and develop practical strategies to overcome challenges and build on their strengths. My goal is to help clients make meaningful changes in their lives and cultivate a greater sense of wellbeing.

 

Whatever your need might be, the techniques used are adaptable and sensitive to the requirements of each individual respecting the uniqueness of each client’s story.
